Using elements from The Odyssey, the Arabian Nights and other popular
tales Xenia Kalogeropoulou has written the story of Ulyssindbad from Ithagdad,
who travels on a quest to find the “cyclolotosirecircisharizoo”.
First production by the MIKRI PORTA, 1981.
Translations: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian,
Hebrew, Turkish and Romanian.
The play has been produced by 20 professional companies,
in Greece and abroad, and by countless amateur companies and schools.
